Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Art and Architecture, The American University in CairoNoha Deyab (Egyptian b. 1984) studied in Cairo , earning a BA in Visual Arts at The American University of Cairo , 2006. Deyabs’ work embraces both representational and abstract elements in dramatic depictions of creatures in their environment. Her works are a continuous expression of both personal and collective experiences ; in doing so, there is an underlying optimism and empathy towards humanity. These feelings are translated through strokes; brusque, delicate, fast or well-thought-out gestures, hastily put together, and at other times deliberate and harmonious with vibrant colours or bold black and white compositions . Noha Deyab's work is a calling to delve deeper and see-it-yourself. She gives the viewer the necessary space to ; observe and discover how that emotional journey will be perceived and felt. In that sense Deyab's works do concern everyone. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions as well as group exhibitions at several prominent institutions
