Saleh Abdel Sabour started printmaking at the young age of 11 years old, and since then had experimented various techniques. Since 2007 however, he began to focus on a new technique which he called "Relief Marble", which allowed him to print on the unusually larger sizes (up to 140x140cm). Up until his untimely passing in 2013, he had a firm belief that a good printmaker can and should use any material available to them to produce good prints. His works are always ethereal and floating- like a black and white film of a dream. his prints felt like paintings, with each mark releasing a certain energy that fuels the composition into become a moving, living image, rather than a static image.
