Yasmina Heidar

Born in Alexandria, Egypt,Yasmina Haider is a Visual Artist and the founder and director of "Art & Cultural Enterprise". A graduate of the Department of Science at the English College for Girls, she also holds a Diploma of Classical Piano (Soloist), from the Royal English School of Music. Yasmina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alexandria (2000), but has furthered her studies in Germany, Turkey, Rome and the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, where she was invited to create a field work of sculpture in the heart of the Italian province of Tuscany in 2008. She was the Deputy Director of the BA Arts Center and has participated in the Aswan Sculpture Symposium. Yasmina Haider currently holds a Doctorate degree and is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University.
